Tyler Perry has broken his silence about the death of Bobbi Kristina … but had very little to say.
“I’m a writer with no words … Bobbi Kris,” Perry tweeted.
Earlier this month, the entertainment mogul spoke out on Facebook about Bobbi’s condition. At the time, Perry was shutting down rumors that BK had already passed away.
“As difficult as this time is for people that love both Whitney and Krissi, what makes it more egregious is the blatant disrespect, lies and ignorance that are rapidly printed in this awful time,” he wrote. “It makes me sad to know that everybody wants to be the first to report something awful. So much so, that they find it OK to speak death onto those who are still alive … I assure you, the family will issue an official statement if something changes.”
But six months after being found facedown, unresponsive in a bathtub full of water, Krissi passed away while surrounded by her family. Bobby Brown and the late Whitney Houston’s only child together died on Sunday while in a hospice center in Duluth, Georgia.
Initial autopsy reports show that there is was no “obvious underlying cause of death and no significant injuries were noted.” The Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office also confirmed on Tuesday that the 22-year-old’s body was released to the family’s designated funeral home.
According to reports, BK’s funeral is set for Saturday at 11 a.m. at St. James United Methodist Church in Georgia.
