LeBron James made a few hundred fans very happy on Friday night when he arrived to the Trainwreck premiere in Akron, Ohio.

James hit the red carpet at the Regal movie theater in Montrose with his co-stars Amy Schumer; co-stars Bill Hader and director, Judd Apatow and was all smiles in a fedora hat and white jeans.

While on the carpet, the Cleveland Cavaliers player told reporters that starring in the comedy is just like being on a team. “When you’re with a great team, you are able to go out and just have fun. It’s cool right here, Judd, Amy and Bill and the rest of the crew that was on set. They did a great job.”

And it turns out, James, who is making his acting debut in the film is just as talented off court as he is on. “LeBron is an amazing actor. He is going to shock the world, no joke. He was the funniest one on set,” Schumer explained. Hader added, “Now he is the best basketball player but he is going to start starring in comedies after this I’m sure.”

In the film, the athlete plays himself and is a friend of Hader’s character.

Trainwreck hits theaters on July 17.
