Kim Kardashian First Met Caitlyn Jenner 12 Years Ago
Kim Kardashian is revealing major life secrets in the latest issue of Rolling Stone.
The reality star opened up about a slew of topics for the publication’s cover story, including, the first time she saw her stepfather, Bruce Jenner, now known as Caitlyn Jenner in women’s clothing. “I was shaking,” Kardashian said. “I didn’t know if I’d just found out his deepest, darkest secret, and he was going to come after me.”
Kim, who was 22 at the time, explained that Jenner called her shortly after and said, “One day, I’ll talk to you about this. Until then, don’t tell a soul.”
Eight years later and 12 years before coming out to the world, Jenner wanted to have “that talk.”
As for her nuptials to Kanye, the beauty explained she “wasn’t sure if Bruce was going to be comfortable walking me down the aisle. He had just had his trachea shaved, so I knew something was going on.” And turns out, Kanye helped her make sense of it all. “[Kanye] obviously moves to his own drum. He lives his life the way he wants, a really authentic life, and he was like, ‘If you can’t be authentic and you can’t live your life, what do you have?'”
When it comes to relationships, it is no secret that Kim has dived into the interracial pool time and time again. During her interview RS, the beauty talked about the first time she was in a interracial relationship, which was with Michael Jackson’s nephew, T.J. Kim says that her father, Robert Kardashian “explained to me that he’s had a lot of interracial friends, and it might not be the easiest relationship. He said I should prepare myself for people to say things to me. . . . When I was in high school, I’d get magazines and see interracial couples and think, ‘They are so cute.’ I’ve always been attracted to a certain kind of look.”
In the publication, which hits newsstands on July 3, the pregnant star also opened up about her brother Robert, who has been out of the spotlight for several years now. “It’s not that mysterious, what’s happening with Rob,” Kim said. “He has gained weight. He feels uncomfortable being on the show, and that’s OK. Do I think he smokes weed, drinks beer, hangs out and plays video games with his friends all day long? Yes.”
