The evening Dionne Warwick was set to appear on Andy Cohen’s Watch What Happens Live, the singer’s cousin, Bobbi Kristina Brown passed away. But despite the tragic news, Warwick still made her Bravo TV appearance and was candid in discussing how she remembers Bobby Brown and the late Whitney Houston’s only child together.
When asked what she wants people to know about Krissi, she responded, “Oh my, do we have enough time? She was a sweetheart and she will be missed that’s for sure. And she was a good girl … She was a good little girl, she really was.”
And as one can imagine, losing Whitney just three years ago and now losing the late legend’s only child is absolutely devastating. But according to Dionne, it’s the family’s faith that carries them through. “It’s not easy that’s for sure. I think it’s because of our faith and strength in our faith,” she told Andy. “Knowing that Bobbi is now with a much, much bigger and powerful person or thing that we’ll ever know. She’s in much better hands now.”
Bobbi died on Sunday evening while in a hospice center in Duluth, Georgia. She was only 22. The Houston family said in a statement that “she is finally at peace in the arms of God. We want to again thank everyone for their tremendous amount of love and support during these last few months.”
