Basketball Wives LA star, Brandi Maxiwell, stopped by the HipHollywood loft to talk about the new season of the hit VH1 show. But emotions took over when discussing her husband’s infidelities.

Between last season and this season of the reality show, Brandi’s storyline deals with issues between she and her husband, Jason Maxiell. When asked if she has any advice for women dealing with marital problems, she expressed that she can’t give any advice because “I’m still working on it myself.”

“The one thing that I hate is the stereotype that basketball players have,” she said. “Everybody has this judgment on basketball players … It shouldn’t be just because he plays sports he can cheat on me.”

Maxiell continued, “When you get married you are supposed to be faithful and it’s for better or for worse.” Fighting back tears, she added, “I’ve always said for better for worse, for richer and for poorer. I’m dong my best to stay with it and work on things. It’s a struggle, it’s a process, but we are getting there.”

Basketball Wives airs every Sunday night on VH1.
