On Tuesday morning, the nominees for the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards were announced and no surprise here, Taylor Swift, Beyonce and Ed Sheeran lead the pack.

Swift takes the reigns with nine nominations, while Beyonce and Ed both sit at a well respected six nods. The trio will fight for the Moonman award in three of the same categories including, Best Pop Video, Best Editing and Video of the Year.

For Video of the Year, Beyonce is being recognized for “7/11,” Sheeran for “Thinking Out Loud” and Swift for she and Kendrick Lamar’s, “Bad Blood.” Lamar also joins the trio in the category for his video, “Alright.”

“Here’s a video from my first day of fight training for Bad Blood,” Swift wrote on Instagram. “Thanks again for the 9 VMA nominations!!”

Other big names nominated, Fetty Wap, who was nominated for Artist to Watch and Best Hip Hop Video for his track, “Trap Queen.”

The awards show, which will be hosted by Miley Cyrus, will air live on Aug. 30. on MTV from the Microsoft Theater in downtown Los Angeles. Fans can now cast their votes online.

Jennifer Hudson Is In Fear For Her Life, Gets Order Of Protection Against Ex-Fiancé David Otunga

Jennifer Hudson has been granted a protective order against her former fiancé, David Otunga.

Apparently, after 10 years together, Jennifer and David broke-up for several months ago. However, things turned extremely sour while the pair were trying to work out a custody situation for their 8-year-old son, David Jr. According to the protection order, Jennifer claims the former wrestler exhibited “aggressive, threatening and harassing behavior toward me.” She also says, “I am now living in fear of further action David might take.”

After receiving the order of protection on Thursday, cops showed up to Hudson’s home, that she shared with David, and escorted him out.

Otunga’s attorney vehemently denies any wrongdoing on David’s behalf and claims that Jennifer is using this protection order as a ploy to get the courts to give her primary physical custody of David Jr.
