Azealia Banks thinks BET is a complete joke, but that’s not stopping her from touring for the network. Banks and K. Michelle announced earlier this week that they’re “embarking on a very special 20-date tour across North America this fall.”

The co-headlining tour presented by CENTRIC and BET kicks off in Indianapolis on September 15 and wraps up in Los Angeles on October 15.

“Centric and BET are excited to sponsor K. Michelle and Azealia Banks on tour,” said Constance Orlando, Senior Vice President of Specials, Music and News for BET Networks. “Partnering with these bold and authentic female artists aligns perfectly with Centric’s position as the first network designed for Black women.”

Oddly enough, just two months ago Banks slammed BET after she was nominated for Best Rap Album at their 2015 award show.

She does have a point. Anyway, here are the tour dates:

The Good, Bad And Ug… Less Flattering At The NAACP Image Awards

Published

on

This year, the NAACP Image Awards were held on Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. As we all know, Dr. King had a dream, and for many on the red carpet it was a dream come true. But unfortunately, there were some nightmares … fashion nightmares.

Here’s our list of then stars who were hot and those who left us bothered. First, let’s start with the hot…

Halle Berry – Getty Images

And it doesn’t get hotter than Halle Berry showing half her body. Ms. Berry slayed in this Reem Acra gown reminding then youngin’s that she’s still got it.

Storm Reid – Getty Images

And speaking of youngin’s A Wrinkle In Time star Storm Reid may be relatively new to the game, but she showed up on the carpet looking like a vet in this adorable Yanina number.

Yara Shahidi – Getty Images

Yara Shahidi also showed up serving #BlackGirlMagic in this beautiful Vera Wang dress.

Kerry Washington – Getty Images

And Kerry Washington killed it, also wearing black, in this Michael Kors stunner.

But as we know, with the good comes the bad, and the bad this time around came courtesy…

Danielle Brooks, we love our Orange Is The New Black boo, but this Michael Costello look just didn’t work for her.

Ava DuVernay – Getty Images

We also love Ava DuVernay, but unfortunately this Greta Constatine jumpsuit didn’t have us jumping for joy.

Lil Mama – Getty Images

Lil Mama left us wanting more in this navy blue feathery frock … actually it may be her hair that left us disappointed.

LeToya Luckett – Getty Images

And adding to our disappointment was Letoya Luckett wearing a purple gown that had scallops and bows and slits … oh my!

Do you agree with our hots and nots?
