HipHollywood has learned that Sean “Diddy” Combs was arrested on Monday after allegedly assaulting UCLA’s football conditioning coach, Sal Alosi. Diddy’s son Justin plays defensive back at the Los Angeles university.

The media mogul was reportedly taken into custody at 12:30 p.m. after swinging a kettlebell at Alosi. Witnesses say that the coach had been admonishing Justin earlier in the day during practice, “screaming intensely at him.”

“This is an unfortunate incident for all parties involved,” coach Jim Mora said in a statement. “While UCPD continues to review this matter, we will let the legal process run its course and refrain from further comment at this time.”

Diddy remains in custody at the campus jail, but we’re told that a statement will be released later today by UCLA authorities.

The Revolt executive clearly has some anger issues he needs to work out. Earlier this year, he allegedly assaulted Drake outside a Miami nightclub over the use of the “0 To 100” beat.

UPDATE — 5:23 P.M. PST

Diddy has been transferred to the Los Angeles Sheriffs Department where he’s likely to be charged with assault with a deadly weapon.

UPDATE — 10:56 P.M. PST

HipHollywood has learned that Diddy is a free man after posting bail at 9:51 P.M.

Girl Power Prevails At The 2017 American Music Awards

Music’s most amazing night went down Sunday at the Microsoft Theater in L.A. and we have to say the night was all about the ladies!

That’s right the 45th American Music Awards had some major moments and some major girl power starting with Pink and Kelly Clarkson.

The duo got the show started singing R.E.M.’s “Everybody Hurts”, but it was their solo performances that had fans going nuts.

Kelly Clarkson returned to the stage and had everyone on their feet with a medley of her classic tracks and new single “Love So Soft.”

While Pink took her career to new heights leaping off the side of a building while performing her hit single “Beautiful Trauma.”

Christina Aguilera, paid tribute to Whitney Houston with a commemorative performance for the 25th anniversary of The Bodyguard.

But the #Majah moment of the night had to be Diana Ross. The Motown legend was given the Lifetime Achievement Award, and performed some of her greatest hits before accepting the honor.
