Yikes! Just while Tyga was serving up some autographs during his L.A. Gear sneaker launch event, he was the one to get served … with legal papers.   A very clever process server used the event as the perfect opportunity to serve the rapper, who apparently is being sued.

According to TMZ,  the guy stood in line for two hours, bought two pairs of shoes and once he got up to have Tyga sign them,  slapped him with the docs.  Tyga appeared to have played it cool and even snapped a photo with the guy. We guess he was in good spirits. He was after all just named creative consultant for L.A. Gear and is dropping a new album, executive produced by Kanye West.

HipHollywood was inside Shiekh Shoes in Hollywood where Tyga was unveiling his new “Liquid Gold L.A. Gear Lights by Tyga” sneaker. We missed the drama, but did chat with the former YMCMB rapper about his new business venture.

“Growing up and being from L.A., L.A. Gear had a lot of influence on the shoe culture especially when they had Micheal Jackson,” said Tyga. “So I just wanted to bring it back and bring my own flavor and taste to it.”

A limited 500 pairs of the highly anticipated shoe will be exclusively available for purchase at Sheikh Shoe’s Hollywood location.

When HH talked to Yvette she explained why she felt it was important to set the record straight. Plus she revealed the only reason she would ever delete a tweet … actually it’s two reasons.
