Bruce Jenner’s Sitdown With Diane Sawyer Slated for April 24

The moment we’ve all been waiting for is officially going down April 24th. Bruce Jenner will sit down with ABC reporter Diane Sawyer for a two-hour special. This will be the Olympic champion’s first time speaking since reports began to surface that he was transitioning into a woman.

ABC would not say what Jenner would discuss, only stating that it would be “far-ranging” and “exclusive,” and revealed that the title would be called “Bruce Jenner: The Interview.”

Jenner however has something to say. Over the last year, the 65 year old has divorced his wife Kris Jenner, was involved in a fatal car crash, and has been making some changes to his physical appearance.

Sources close to the family say Jenner is without a doubt transitioning from male to female and has already discussed it with his children, including Kim Kardashian who said on Entertainment Tonight back in February, that Jenner would reveal his “journey” when he was ready.

A few months ago, E! was also said to be working on a spinoff series all about Jenner and his gender transition. But the channel has refused to confirm that any such project is in the works. I guess we’ll find out on April 24th (ABC at 9 p.m. ET),  if Jenner is indeed transitioning into a woman … or just transitioning away from the Kardashians.

Reports: Mariah Carey Signs With Jay Z’s RocNation

We know Mariah Carey changes managers like she changes clothes, but her next move could be her best move. According to Page Six Carey is in talks with Jay Z’s Roc Nation to manage her career.

Roc Nation manages Rihanna, Shakira, J Cole and DJ Khaled to name a few.

Apparently, the pop diva is hoping Hov and his team can put her back on top now that she parted ways with former manager Stella Bulochnikov earlier this month.

Sources tell HipHollywood Carey is cleaning house, and has also fired her publicist, assistant and attorney Darrell Miller.

But one person who hasn’t gotten the boot is her back-up dancer boyfriend Bryan Tanaka. Rumors were swirling that she hired Tanaka to take over her day-to-day management, but he’s actually her creative director.

Carey just released her holiday movie Mariah Carey’s All I Want For Christmas Is You, and is slated to bring her Christmas concerts back to the Beacon Theater in NYC this month. She hasn’t however dropped a new album in almost four years.

Fingers crossed this new partnership with Roc Nation brings about new music, and a Mariah / Jay Z collaboration. The two did make magic back in 1999 with their #1 single “Heartbreaker.”
