Tyrese Defends His Adidas Sweatsuit Ensemble
Tyrese went OFF on social media on Tuesday night after being taunted for his interesting choice of wardrobe.
The actor, who has been making press rounds for his forthcoming film, Furious 7 and his new track “Dumb Sh*t,” found himself in a sticky situation after being forced to wear a red Adidas track suit with a pair of black boots during his interviews in LA on Tuesday.
Photos quickly hit the Internet and needless to say, social media was full of hilarious jokes and quips.
Big Boy wrote on Instagram:
“Tyrese missed his plane last night. So @Tyrese had a fan, @jayrg drive overnight from San Francisco to see us. His assistant didn’t pack his Adidas kicks. He came styled in an Adidas sweatsuit and THESE shoes. This is pure #DumbSh*t.”
Radio host Charlamagne Tha God wrote on Instagram: “My guy Tyrese got on Rev. Run Adidas track suit with Rev. Run church shoes.”
Tyrese was bothered by the comments and took to Instagram to defend his wardrobe.
“I just woke up its 8pm! For those of you talking sh*T! Pure #DumbSh*t not only did I miss my flight…. Hitch a ride get pulled over by the CHP on the way but my damn assistant dumb ass never packed my adida shoes – I told @bigboy to keep it low – he just put my sitcho on blast – I just wanted to explain what’s really going on – Jacob it’s over – this has been a morning of pure #DumbSh*t good look for playing #DumbShit ft Snoop 4 times in a row this morning!!”
