Published

on

As we all anticipate the release of Rihanna’s forthcoming album R8, the pop star is teasing us with a little snippet of a new track called “Higher.”

The 26-year-old posted two clips from the track on Instagram, writing:

“5 am drunk off da whiskey with these two rockstars @officialkukharrell @djanser !!! These guys always hold me down even at the craziest hours! We’ve made every album since #GoodGirlGoneBad together! The family!!! One Love #R8.”

On the track, expected to appear on Rih’s upcoming LP, the singer’s tone is very reminiscent of she and Kanye’s “4-5 Seconds.”

Five time Grammy Award winning producer, Kuk Harrell and engineer Marcos Tovar have teamed up Kanye West (executive producer) and Bad Gal RiRi to bring fans an epic project.

There have been conflicting reports as to when Rihanna’s LP will drop, but hopefully, we won’t be waiting much longer.

Yet, and still, you don’t see artist of Amara’s hue celebrated on any Latina platform such as Univision or Telemundo. The host, with the exception of Angela Yee, then proceeded to deduce Amara’s issue to being a problem that’s “all in (her) head”, even referencing the success of Cardi B. as evidence of La Negra’s delusion.
