Nick Young Threatens SportsCenter’s Anchor Over Iggy Azalea Diss

Published

on

Even ESPN anchors are going in on Los Angeles Lakers star Nick Young’s girlfriend, Iggy Azalea.

Robert Flores fired shots at the Australian rapper during a recent episode of Sportscenter, recounting a story Nick shared earlier this year about a dolphin trying to kill him. “So while dolphins are trying to kill you [Nick], your girlfriend is trying to kill hip-hop. Let’s call it even, OK?” Flores remarked on the show.

Nick Young took to Twitter on Monday afternoon to respond in what we think is English, writing:

“@RoFloESPN I’m pretty sure we going to run into each other soon. You job is to talk about sports not what me and my chick got going on. So off the fact you that was cool to say, don’t sit right with me so we got a problem.” Since these Sports Channels want to like they BET, we shall see. Its cool to talk about me all day any day I find with that I can take a joke .. That what I do joke, but I didn’t see the point of that. Got a lotta people tryna drain me of my energy.”

We hope you got the just of what he’s saying. For those of you who didn’t see Flores ether the young Lakers star, hit the play button.

And while there’s nothing wrong with an honesty inquiry, it was the way he asked the question that was off-putting. But, it didn’t stop there.

Charlamange, along to co-host, DJ Envy, repeatedly asked the reality star what was her “struggle”, ignorantly assuming that colorism isn’t a thing anymore because of all the advancements in the entertainment industry that have occurred. Yet, and still, you don’t see artist of Amara’s hue celebrated on any Latina platform such as Univision or Telemundo. The host, with the exception of Angela Yee, then proceeded to deduce Amara’s issue to being a problem that’s “all in (her) head”, even referencing the success of Cardi B. as evidence of La Negra’s delusion. You have to watch this to believe it…
