HipHollywood can confirm that DJ Khaled was hit with a major lawsuit by New York jewelry establishment, Rafaello & Company.
According to TMZ, Rafaello & Company claims Khaled owes them a whopping $100,000 after ordering a laundry list of items and not paying up. According to the news outlet, the producer ordered 2 Rolex watches, a custom made diamond chain, a pair of diamond earrings, and a 4 carat diamond ring back in 2012.
The report states that the company gave Khaled Khaled, the rapper’s legal name, 15 days to check out the custom made bling. If he liked them, he would pay, if not, he would send them back. Per the report, he did neither.
But Rafaello & Company tells HipHollywood exclusively that everything reported by TMZ was “false” and “not the facts.” We are told that “lawyers are dealing with this matter as we speak.”
Rafaello & Company has worked with huge names like Jay Z, Rick Ross, Chris Brown, Jaelen Strong, Floyd Mayweather and Trey Songz. The company also designed Adrienne Bailon’s engagement ring.
