Has your mind been spinning because you can’t figure out what color this dress is? The good news is, you’re not the only one.
Cecilia Bleasdale sparked a huge Internet debate this week after a photo of the dress she wore to her daughter’s wedding appeared to be different colors. Was it black and blue or white and gold?
The garment, which was confirmed to be blue and black, sparked a huge discussion by not only bored Internet users, but celebrities, including Kim Kardashian and Mindy Kaling.
Kim Kardashian tweeted:
“What color is that dress? I see white & gold. Kanye sees black & blue, who is color blind?”
Justin Bieber tweeted:
“And for everyone asking I see blue and black.”
Taylor Swift chimed in:
“I don’t understand this odd dress debate and I feel like it’s a trick somehow. I’m confused and scared. PS it’s OBVIOUSLY BLUE AND BLACK.”
The Mindy Project’s star, Mindy Kaling tweeted:
“IT’S A BLUE AND BLACK DRESS! ARE YOU F*CKING KIDDING ME.”
She added, I think I’m getting so mad about the dress because it’s an assault on what I believe is objective truth. And if people disagree with my objective truth I get so angry I want to destroy that way of thinking because it is just viscerally SO WRONG. Which is why I’m running for president of the United States.”
Demi Lovato tweeted:
“Hold on…. So people actually see white and gold….??!! Wow… My mind is blown. Civil war in the studio right now. #blueandblack.”
Academy Award winner Julliane Moore also commented, responding to a joke by Mindy who asked the star if her Oscar was black or gold.
“Black,” Moore jokingly wrote.
