Bobbi Kristina In Car Wreck Days Before Hospitalization
We are now learning more information about the days leading up to Bobbi Kristina’s January 31 medical emergency.
Just four days before being found unresponsive, face down in a bathtub full of water, the late Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown’s only child together was involved in a car accident that injured two people.
According to a police report, the 21-year-old lost control of her Jeep Liberty when a tire blew out, causing her to cross into oncoming traffic. Krissi wound up colliding with another vehicle, injuring her passenger and the the driver of the other car. Both victims were taken to the hospital. Per the incident report, obtained by The Associated Press, officials found a nail in the Jeep’s blown-out right rear tire.
Bobbi, who was placed in a medically induced coma after being found inside her Roswell, Ga townhouse, has been surrounded by family and friends while fighting for her life at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta.
On Wednesday, Bobbi’s aunt, Pat Houston, released the following statement.
“On this — the third anniversary of Whitney’s passing, our family continues to stand together praying that Bobbi Kristina continues to fight for her life. We thank you again for your continued prayers of love and restoration and we thank you for respecting the family’s privacy at this time.”
Bobbi’s boyfriend, Nick Gordon, also released a statement through his lawyers, slamming reports that he is taking legal action to visit Krissi in the hospital. As previously reported, Pat, has a restraining order against Gordon, who has also had issues with other family members.
“In response to reports that Nick Gordon is taking legal action, he would like it to be clear, he is not,” attorney Randall M. Kessler told NBC News. “Mr. Gordon’s only concern is the recovery of Bobbi Kristina. He remains in constant prayer for his companion and he hopes to be reunited with her soon. Despite the incredible public interest, we ask and hope that this request can be resolved privately by Mr. Gordon and the family.”
It has been confirmed that officials have launched a criminal investigation into what led to BK’s hospitalization.
