Attorneys Investigating What Led To Bobbi Kristina’s Hospitalization
Bobby Brown’s attorney said on Tuesday that they are “currently investigating the events that led to the hospitalization” of Bobby and the late Whitney Houston’s daughter, Bobbi Kristina.
Bobby’s attorneys also suggested that contrary to what Bobbi might have expressed via social media in the past year, she never officially wed the man claiming to be her husband. “To correct earlier reports, Bobbi Kristina is not and has never been married to Nick Gordon,” the attorneys confirmed in a statement.
Bobby also released another statement through his lawyers regarding his ill daughter. The statement read:
“We continue to request privacy in this matter. Please allow for our family to deal with this matter and give Bobbi Kristina the love and support she needs at this time.”
Bobbi Kristina was found unresponsive in a bathtub on Saturday morning in her Rosewell, Ga townhouse. After being found face down, in a bathtub full of water, the 21-year-old was rushed to North Fulton Hospital where she was placed in a medically induced coma. On Tuesday, she was reportedly moved to Emory University Hospital in Atlanta.
“Bobbi Kristina is fighting for her life and is surrounded by immediate family,” the Houston’s said in a statement. “As her father already stated, we are asking you to honor our request for privacy during this difficult time.”
Following the incident, police searched the home for drugs but said “there were no drugs out in the open.” But according to TMZ, law enforcement went back to the home for a second search and found narcotics.
