Shots Fired In Front Of Vice President Joe Biden’s Delaware Home
Multiple agencies, including the FBI, are currently investigating a shooting that took place in front of Vice President Joe Biden’s Delaware home on Saturday night.
According to Secret Service spokesman Robert Hoback, shots were heard by secret service personnel posted at Biden’s residence. According to the agency, the car drove by, fired off multiple shots around 8:28 p.m. and left the scene “at a high rate of speed.”
Biden and his wife were not home at the time.
The New Castle County Division of Police tells HipHollywood that police “set up a perimeter and conducted a property check of the area and surrounding communities in an attempt to locate any suspects.” While on scene, they detained a man for attempting to pass an officer. We are told that the individual was “not charged in relation to the shooting.”
President Obama and Biden have both been briefed on the incident.
