Iggy Azalea Announces Medical Condition Via Twitter

Iggy Azalea has one major resolution … to take care of herself and her body. The “Fancy” rapper revealed on Twitter this week that she was recently diagnosed with TMJ, which stands for temporomandibular joint and muscle disorders.

“I’m gonna make more of an effort to take care of myself in 2015, stay away from all the drama & hopefully not have any flair ups,” she wrote in a series of tweets. “I don’t think western medicine all the way acknowledges what a huge toll mental stress takes on our bodies. But I do believe it is a factor. Anyhow I don’t think it will ever prevent me from doing anything I want to but it has made me realize it’s important to look after yourself.”

This year alone, Iggy took home an American Music Award, had one of the top singles of the year and was nominated for four Grammys. However, the rapper also faced some hardships, including being the face of a huge sex tape scandal and publicly beefing with Snoop Dogg and Azealia Banks. It’s safe to say 2014 was bitter sweet for the star, but it looks like Iggy is ready to take on 2015.

The rapper and her boo, Nick Young, celebrated NYE in Las Vegas where they also saw Britney Spears in concert.

Music’s most amazing night went down Sunday at the Microsoft Theater in L.A. and we have to say the night was all about the ladies!

That’s right the 45th American Music Awards had some major moments and some major girl power starting with Pink and Kelly Clarkson.

The duo got the show started singing R.E.M.’s “Everybody Hurts”, but it was their solo performances that had fans going nuts.

Kelly Clarkson returned to the stage and had everyone on their feet with a medley of her classic tracks and new single “Love So Soft.”

While Pink took her career to new heights leaping off the side of a building while performing her hit single “Beautiful Trauma.”

Christina Aguilera, paid tribute to Whitney Houston with a commemorative performance for the 25th anniversary of The Bodyguard.

But the #Majah moment of the night had to be Diana Ross. The Motown legend was given the Lifetime Achievement Award, and performed some of her greatest hits before accepting the honor.
