It was a big night for the cast of Shonda Rhimes’ Grey’s Anatomy, who took home the People’s Choice Award for Favorite TV drama. The show’s cast and crew were more than humbled for the love and support.

“It’s a huge deal,” Kelly McCreary told HipHollywood while on the red carpet for the annual awards show. Her co-star, James Pickens Jr. also shared his reaction to the big nod, telling us that “obviously we’ve done something right for eleven years.”

Also bringing some major energy to the red carpet, black-ish stars, Miles Brown and Marsai Martin, who raved about being nominated and working with co-stars Tracee Ellis Ross, Anthony Anderson and Laurence Fishburne. “It’s really great,” little Marsai said. Miles chimed in, “Working on the number one comedy on TV is really crazy.”

HipHollywood also caught up with Tahj Mowry, whose show Baby Daddy was nominated for Favorite TV Comedy. And while we congratulated the star on his first People’s Choice nod, we also congratulated him on being the future uncle to another niece or nephew. “For the third time,” he said. “I think I got this down.”

Tahj’s sister, Tamera Mowry-Housley announced this week that she is pregnant with her second child. “I was at dinner at her house,” he told us about how he learned about the new addition. “Before she told me, I knew exactly what she was going to say and we started screaming and hugging.”

Girl Power Prevails At The 2017 American Music Awards

Music’s most amazing night went down Sunday at the Microsoft Theater in L.A. and we have to say the night was all about the ladies!

That’s right the 45th American Music Awards had some major moments and some major girl power starting with Pink and Kelly Clarkson.

The duo got the show started singing R.E.M.’s “Everybody Hurts”, but it was their solo performances that had fans going nuts.

Kelly Clarkson returned to the stage and had everyone on their feet with a medley of her classic tracks and new single “Love So Soft.”

While Pink took her career to new heights leaping off the side of a building while performing her hit single “Beautiful Trauma.”

Christina Aguilera, paid tribute to Whitney Houston with a commemorative performance for the 25th anniversary of The Bodyguard.

But the #Majah moment of the night had to be Diana Ross. The Motown legend was given the Lifetime Achievement Award, and performed some of her greatest hits before accepting the honor.
