Exclusive: Kevin Hart is Ready For DWTS?

Published

on

Believe it or not Kevin Hart has got some impressive dance skills and he shows them off in his latest film The Wedding Ringer.

HipHollywood caught up with the comedian to talk about busting a move in his latest film and if he could handle Dancing With The Stars.

“First of all I’m an amazing dancer,” said Hart. “What you saw was the tip of the iceberg, if you put me in a real dancing environment I’ll cut a mean rug.”

In the film Hart poses as the best man for a socially awkward groom, played by Josh Gad, and the duo break into a mean Dougie in one hilarious wedding scene.

But while the film is full of laughs, and a colorful cast including Jennifer Lewis, Affion Crockett and Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting it’s also got a lot of heart … pun intended.

“I think we balance out the crazy with the emotional levels telling a story people aren’t expecting to see,” explained Hart. “I think the title makes it seem like its such a wedding movie, the wedding is actually the last thing you are going to focus on … its about the relationship these two guys are building.”

The Wedding Ringer is theaters January 16th.

Music’s most amazing night went down Sunday at the Microsoft Theater in L.A. and we have to say the night was all about the ladies!

That’s right the 45th American Music Awards had some major moments and some major girl power starting with Pink and Kelly Clarkson.

The duo got the show started singing R.E.M.’s “Everybody Hurts”, but it was their solo performances that had fans going nuts.

Kelly Clarkson returned to the stage and had everyone on their feet with a medley of her classic tracks and new single “Love So Soft.”

While Pink took her career to new heights leaping off the side of a building while performing her hit single “Beautiful Trauma.”

Christina Aguilera, paid tribute to Whitney Houston with a commemorative performance for the 25th anniversary of The Bodyguard.

But the #Majah moment of the night had to be Diana Ross. The Motown legend was given the Lifetime Achievement Award, and performed some of her greatest hits before accepting the honor.
