Rapper YG is furious that he did not receive a single Grammy nomination. The rapper, whose album My Krazy Life debuted at #1 on Billboard, stopped by LA’s Power 106 on Tuesday and opened up about completely being snubbed.

“Some of them albums is whack, you feel me,” YG said about the other nominees in the best Rap Album category, which include Iggy Azalea’s The New Classic, Childish Gambino’s Because The Internet, Common’s Nobody’s Smiling, Eminem’s The Marshall Mathers LP2, Schoolboy Q’s Oxymoron and Wiz Khalifa’s Blacc Hollywood.  “My album is better than their albums. So I feel like how ya’ll not gonna nominate me.”

“I already knew I wasn’t going to win a Grammy … but they gonna nominate me for sure. When I seen some of the albums on there it was like I didn’t really get it, I really feel some type of way,” he said. “I know it has something to do with me being from the streets and representing who I represent and talking about what I talk about on these records.”

YG continued, “The Grammy people gotta know that I’m really out there, I’m the people’s champ, I’m the people’s people, they really rocking with me … I got a foundation, non profit, I give back to the community, I do five to eight events every year.”

Do you think YG deserved a Grammy nod?
