Sony Hackers Threaten Attacks On Theaters Showing ‘The Interview’

The hackers who are responsible for the crippling cyber attacks on Sony Pictures Entertainment have taken their threats to a new level.

The masterminds behind hacking the movie studio and retrieving confidential data, including employees personal information, has now threatened attacks on people planning to see Seth Rogen and James Franco’s new movie, The Interview. 

“Warning. We will clearly show it to you at the very time and places ‘The Interview’ be shown, including the premiere, how bitter fate those who seek fun in terror should be doomed to,” the hackers message read Tuesday. “Soon all the world will see what an awful movie Sony Pictures Entertainment has made.The world will be full of fear. Remember the 11th of September 2001.We recommend you to keep yourself distant from the places at that time. (If your house is nearby, you’d better leave.) Whatever comes in the coming days is called by the greed of Sony Pictures Entertainment. All the world will denounce the SONY.”

Since November 24, the day of the horrific hacks, several secrets from the media giant have been leaked, including how much Seth and Franco made for the film.  Rogen got paid a whopping $8.4 million and James earned a cool $6.5 million.

Over the weekend, it was also revealed that Beyonce’s father, Mathew Knowles, tried to pitch a Destiny’s Child biopic to the movie studio, but executives were reluctant to get on board.
