Kandi Burruss and her husband Todd Tucker are mourning the death of his mother, Sharon. According to reports, Mother Tucker was rushed to a New York hospital on Monday after suffering a stroke. She eventually slipped into a coma and passed away one day later, Tuesday December 2. Todd and Kandi rushed to the city after learning about the news and were by his mother’s side when she died.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta couple confirmed the devastating news via Instagram with a heartbreaking message.

“Today I lost my partner, my ride or die my best friend! I don’t know what to do,” Todd wrote. “I’m lost! My heart hurts so much! She was a fighter, a warrior for her son! It was me and her against the world! She’s in a better place!! Mom I love you to death! Rest in peace!”

Kandi wrote:

“Today has been a tough day. Our family has suffered a terrible loss. Sharon was the best mother in-law! She was fun, energetic, loving, & caring. I loved how she liked to get up & go all the time. She would get you in check one minute & give you a hug the next minute. She still had a young spirit. It’s unbelievable that she’s gone. I’m so sad for @todd167 because they were so close… He talked to her every morning & all thru out the day, every day. It’s hard losing people that you love but when it’s out of the blue with no warning it just makes it that much harder…. I’m still in shock.”

Tucker and Kandi’s RHOA family also sent their condolences via social media. Peter Thomas wrote on Instagram:

“There is nothing like a mothers love, and we all see how hard Ms Sharon ride for her son, I love this woman, I can’t believe she has pass, I am so sadden right now. God bless.”

Peter’s wife, Cynthia Bailey wrote:

I am deeply saddened by the news of @todd167 mother Sharon untimely passing. I enjoyed every moment that I spent with her. She was a kind & loving spirit. I will truly miss her. @todd167 may the comfort of God be with you and your family during this difficult time. Stay strong my friend. My thoughts & prayers are with you. Love you guys @kandiburruss #RIP #amotherslove.”

As fans anticipate the release of the rapper’s upcoming album, “Make America Crip Again,” folks are getting a little teaser from the title track.

Audio was released from the song and on it, Snoop tackles Colin Kaepernick and the current controversial National Anthem controversy. “The president said he wants to make America great again. Fuck that shit, we gon’ make America Crip again,” he raps.

During an interview on CNN, the rapper explained, “Certain people feel like we should make America ‘great again,’ but that time they’re referring to always takes me back to separation and segregation, so I’d rather make America Crip again.'”

He added, “What I mean by that is, in my lifetime, that’s when young black men in impoverished areas organized to help their communities and to take care of their own because society basically left them for dead.”
