Photos: Kanye West Performs At World Aids Concert In NYC
Kanye West helped celebrate World Aids Day on Monday night and hit the stage for a huge concert in New York City.
The 36-year-old joined Bruce Springsteen, Carrie Underwood and Chris Martin for the World Aids Day Concert in Times Square and leave it to Yeezus to deliver a stellar set. The 36-year-old kicked off his performance with “Power” before going right into “Jesus Walks.”
Meanwhile, on the other side of the country, Kanye’s wife, Kim Kardashian was spotted in Los Angeles with her mother Kris Jenner at the Elizabeth Taylor Foundation World AIDS Day event. During the soiree, Kardashian presented a new cocktail with the portion of the proceeds going to the fight against the disease.
“We have the tools to end this epidemic and it starts with each and every one of us,” Kim said while toasting the Elizabeth Taylor cocktail. “By practicing safe sex, getting tested, and ending the stigma by supporting and loving those that are infected, just like Elizabeth did. It’s been 30 years since Miss Taylor began her life’s work in the fight against AIDS and to that let’s all raise a glass to the very first Elizabeth Taylor cocktail.”
