Boy Bye! Birdman Not Planning On Letting Lil Wayne Out Of His Contract
Earlier this month, Lil Wayne went on a Twitter tirade not only expressing his frustration with Baby, but revealing that he wanted out of his contract with Cash Money.
“To all my fans, I want you to know that my album won’t and hasn’t been released because Baby and Cash Money Records refuse to release it. This is not my fault. I am truly and deeply sorry to all my fans but most of all to myself and my family for putting us in this situation. I want off this label and nothing to do with these people but unfortunately it ain’t that easy.”
Birdman has remained mum on Weezy’s revelation, however, sources are telling TMZ that the 45-year-old has no intention on fulfilling Wayne’s request. Apparently, Baby is “deeply offended by Weezy’s public rants,” but he plans on sticking to the contract. The insider also revealed that Wayne’s album delay is due to “administrative work” and that it will be released … but on Baby’s time.
