Olive Branch? Pusha T Invites Lil Wayne To Join GOOD Music
There’s no love lost between rap rivals Pusha T and Lil Wayne, but Pusha appears to be extending an olive branch to his nemesis. On Thursday, Wayne took to Twitter to say that he wants off Cash Money Records and that he’s fed up with Baby delaying his album release.
“To all my fans, I want you to know that my album won’t and hasn’t been released because Baby and Cash Money Records refuse to release it … I want off this label and nothing to do with these people but unfortunately it ain’t that easy.”
After Pusha caught wind of the tweet, he sent out this message to his rival which was probably more so him throwing shade than anything else.
“@LilTunechi if you wanna drop albums and don’t want your CEOs rubbing they hands all in your music videos, COME TO GOOD MUSIC!!”
The rapper then published lyrics to a diss song he put out about Wayne, emphasizing the verse regarding Wayne’s contract with Baby. “I never lied to the people not one time,” Pusha captioned the post.
