Nick Cannon Slams Mariah Carey Diss Album Rumors
Nick Cannon took to Twitter on Monday evening to slam reports that he is writing records dissing his estranged wife, Mariah Carey.
“I will never say anything negative about @MariahCarey We are forever a family rooted in love,” he wrote in a series of tweets. “I am always an open book but Personal matters are just that “Personal.” So please respect my family and respect the process.”
“In other words, all you vultures and bottom feeders searching for a story can go #ChokeYourself #Ncredible,” he tweeted. “Those with the most opinions often have the fewest facts” #Day2. ‘What others think about me is really none of my business.’
The comedian added, “I have no problem being painted as the bad guy. I got tough skin. Keep going! I just pray we ALL can move forward in the new year.”
Last week, Mally Mall told photographers at LAX that he was working on new music with Cannon and that the records will be seemingly controversial once they drop. According to the producer, Cannon speaks ill about Carey, whom he shares two kids with.
Reports also broke last week that the estranged couple did not spend Christmas together in Colorado as originally planned. “[The decision is] based on a few things,” a source told E! News. “For starters, they spent Thanksgiving together and fought behind the scenes. How is it healthy for the kids if both parents are technically in the same place but fighting?”
“She holds him partially responsible for the bad press her recent performances have gotten,” the insider added. “She’s been so stressed over the split—with the fighting and crying—it’s definitely affected her state of mind, her head, her voice and her stage presence. It’s rattled her.”
