Meek Mill is counting his lucky stars because after spending several months behind bars, it’s being reported that the rapper is getting out one month early. My Fox Philly’s Steve Keeley confirmed the news via Twitter on Tuesday morning, writing:

“Philly musician Meek Mill getting early Christmas gift today from judge..released more than a month early. Meek’s early release conditions no travel no tour gigs until community service & anger mgmt concealing complete.”

Meek was sentenced to three to six months back in July for violation of probation in connection with his 2008 arrest. The Philadelphia native was convicted on multiple gun and drug charges six years ago and was sentenced to eight months in jail.  After his release, the rapper was placed on five-years probation, but a judge found the rapper guilty of violating the terms after he booked out of town concerts without permission and failed to give his probation officer a working phone number.

HipHollywood reached out to Meek’s camp, but so far no word back.
