Floyd Mayweather Talks With Investigators About Earl Hayes, Stephanie Moseley Murder-Suicide

HipHollywood can confirm that Floyd Mayweather has spoken with investigators following Monday’s murder-suicide of Earl Hayes and Stephanie Moseley. LAPD tells us that Floyd was cooperative but that details from the interview will remain confidential.

Earlier this week, Hayes murdered his wife before turning the gun on himself. Sources later revealed to HipHollywood that Floyd was on FaceTime with Earl when the tragic incident occurred. Hayes called Mayweather early Monday morning, furious over allegations his wife had been cheating on him.

Bloggers have also insinuated that Floyd might have instigated the murder-suicide. “Money and his rapper friend, Earl Hayes were on the phone chopping it up. You know, just kicking it,” Sports blogger Terez Owens wrote. “So Floyd started ragging the rapper about that time R&B star Trey Songz smashed his wife, Stephanie Moseley. The dude has been struggling with the affair which happened five years ago … Not that he told Floyd to shoot his wife but that he pushed a guy who he knew was a little fragile over the edge.”

The night of the murder, Floyd was photographed enjoying himself at the Los Angeles Clippers game. He was also spotted out at the game the following evening.
