Beyonce released an 11-minute retrospective short film called Yours and Mine on Friday celebrating the one-year-anniversary of her self-titled visual album.

In the video, the Queen Bey shows a more vulnerable side to her, opening up about her life behind the glitz and the glam. “I sometimes wish I could just be anonymous and walk down the street just like everyone else,” she says. “Before I was famous I was a girl on the hill with a guitar. I was the girl who just waned a beautiful view of the beach. And now that I’m famous, it’s really really difficult to do very simple things.”

“I have dreams and I feel like I have the power to actually make those dreams become a reality … When you’re famous no one looks at you as a human anymore. You become the property of the public. There’s nothing real about it.”

“You can’t put your finger on who I am, I can’t put my finger on who I am,” she adds.
