Azealia Banks Cries Over Iggy Beef? Azalea Responds!

Could it be … Azealia Banks is done feuding with Iggy Azalea? Haha, never!

The ever-evolving feud between Azealia and Azalea now has a new chapter that includes crying and clapping back. In an interview with HOT 97’s Rosenberg and Ebro, Banks finally got the chance to fully explain her issues with Iggy, T.I. and “Black music being smudge out.”

“Iggy Azalea is not excellent,” the Broke With Expensive Taste rapper exclaimed, then she went on to state why the Grammy’s is getting it all wrong and how Black artist are getting the short end of the stick.

“I feel like in this country, whenever it comes to our things, like black issues or black politics or black music or whatever, there’s always this undercurrent of kinda like a ‘f*ck you.’ There’s always a “f*ck y’all ni**as. Y’all don’t really own sh*t. Y’all don’t have sh*t.

“That Macklemore album wasn’t better than the Drake record. That Iggy Azalea shit isn’t better than any f*cking black girl that’s rapping today… The Grammys are supposed to be accolades of artistic excellence. Iggy Azalea is not excellent.”

“When they give these Grammys out, all it says to white kids is: oh yeah you’re great, you’re amazing, you can do whatever you put your mind to. And it says to black kids: you don’t have sh*t. You don’t own sh*t, not even the sh*t you created for yourself, and it makes me upset.”

Banks was even moved to tears during the interview when she began to speak about how her identity is being taken from her and that big corporations are “caking off that slave money”.
