Nearly two weeks after allegedly being attacked by boyfriend and Love & Hip Hop Hollywood co-star, Yung Berg, Masika Tucker is ready to simply move on.
“Moving forward. The end,” the reality star tweeted on Friday.
Berg was arrested and charged with obstruction of breathing earlier this month after apparently grabbing his girlfriend by the neck, throwing her to the floor, dragging her by her hair and hitting her in the face while at the Gershwin Hotel in NY. Based on the severity of the allegations, VH1 decided to ax the music producer from LHHH.
During a recent interview with S2S magazine, Tucker opened up about the altercation, suggesting that the entire thing was blown out of proportion. “In part, because it was a ritzy hotel,” she said. “Late at night and several guests in the hotel called the police.”
“My focus right now is him being better,” she told the publication. “The focus should not be on us being a couple right now. It’s best that we don’t communicate as we were.”
Masika also admitted that Berg has alcohol abuse issues. “I do feel like he has a drinking issue and that’s the issue at this time,” she said. “It was not an abusive situation.”
