Five Men Who Have Publicly Defended Their Women Against Social Media Trolls

Published

When it comes to love, Hollywood men will go to great lengths to defend the women they are involved with, even if it means attacking fans or even comrades of the entertainment industry. This year alone, we have seen several clapback sessions from celebrity A listers defending their boos via social media and needless to say, it’s always entertaining. So here are our top five favorite men who have gone to bat for their ladies.

1. Chris Brown had to go to bat for Karrueche Tran over the weekend after a social media user posing to be the young fashion designer’s ex-boyfriend posted a few fake tweets from his page. One photo message read:

He captioned the image:

“Love how my ex @Karrueche gave me a quick ass S/O then deleted instantly! She so petty but still love her to death!”

Brown snapped back writing on the user’s page:

Issa, Anthony, Sterling … Oh My! This Is Who We’re Rooting For At The Golden Globes

Published

Another year, another award show … but this time around a few new names have made the nominations cut.

The 2018 Golden Globes nominees were announced on Monday and some of our favorites like Anthony Anderson, his show “black-ish”, Denzel Washington (“Roman J. Israel, Esq”), Octavia Spencer (“The Shape Of Water”) and Sterling K. Brown (“This Is Us”) made the list again. But some newbies were announced that have us giddy like it’s Christmas morning.

First up, we’re super glad that “Get Out” is being recognized, although it’s in the “Best Motion Picture – Comedy or Musical” category (womp) and to see David Kaluuya getting some love is pretty dope.

In addition, one of our FAVE singer is now being recognized for her acting prowess! Mary J. Blige scored a nod for her supporting role in “Mudbound” and we can’t wait to see what she wears to the big show.

And although this is Issa Rae’s second year being a Golden Globe nominee, we’re just as excited as if it were her first! Oh, and maybe the Globes will get it right this year (wink, wink).
