Exclusive: Nicki Minaj’s Ex Safaree Samuels Wants To Be A Supermodel

Published

One of the world’s leading male models tells HipHollywood exclusively that Nicki Minaj’s ex Safaree Samuels wants to become the world’s next Tyson Beckford. The revelation was made to us last week, just days before the Jamaican Queens rapper blasted her ex on a new song titled “Bed of Lies.”

On the track, Minaj alleges that a former companion used her and her contacts to try and make a name for themselves. That claim, if indeed about Samuels, doesn’t sound too far from off what a top model told us.

“People are always asking me for modeling advice,” the former America’s Next Top model contestant explained. “You know, Safaree, Nicki Minaj’s ex? He came to me for some advice on modeling, but I mean, he’s just not a model. Like, I told him being honest, ‘Dude, you’re not a model.'”

What the future holds for Safaree is unknown, but one thing is for sure: becoming a supermodel is probably a path best left avoided. “You have to have a certain look and some people just don’t have it,” our insider added.
