Exclusive: Kosine Of Da Internz Explains Why He Changed His Name To Enrique Dragon

Published

on

Kosine from the production duo Da Internz is stepping out from behind the production board and jumping in front of the mic with his new alias, Erique Dragon.

While you may not know who Kosine is yet, you definitely know his work. He and his co-producer Tuo are responsible for producing some of the last five years’ biggest hits including “Ass” by Big Sean, “Birthday Cake” by Rihanna, and most recently, Nicki Minaj’s hit “Anaconda.” Though he enjoys making hits for other people, Kosine has decided to start making hits for himself. With his recent name change to Enrique Dragon he has followed in the footsteps of other producers including Swizz Beatz, Pharrell, and Kanye West and become a rapper.

HipHollywood recently caught up with the Chicago native and he explained why out of all of the rapper names he could have picked, he chose “Enrique Dragon.” “In real life my name is Enrique, I’m 100% Latin American. My mom is from Panama and my father is from Guatamala,” he told HipHollywood. “The dragon was the illest wrestler of all time! Ricky The Dragon Steamboat? Are you f*cking kidding me? Who wouldn’t want the name? And then the only other person who’s smart enough to even touch on the ‘dragon’ is god damn Sisqo!”

Kosine has already released his debut single as Enrique Dragon entitled “Out Here,” which has heavy influences from the Chicago juke scene. Watch the video above to find out more about Kosine’s big name change along with his future plans as Enrique Dragon.

Michael Rapaport Calls Himself The “MVP Of Talking Trash” Following Janet Jackson Controversy

Published

Michael Rapaport came under fire earlier this month for slamming Janet Jackson Appreciation Day which was on Super Bowl Sunday. But now, he is speaking a slightly different tune.

On February 4th, as Janet fans used social media to praise the singer, Michael took to Twitter to do what he does best: Talk mess.

“Can anybody crying for Janet Jackson right now tell me the last Janet Jackson song that was popping,” he wrote. “Motherf*cka’s wanna make nothing something 24/7/365 & Super Bowl Sunday.”

Michael, however, is slightly backing down from his aggressive words. HipHollywood caught up with the actor during the premier of Shot In The Dark, to discuss not only his ability to talk “sh*t,” but being attacked by Black Twitter.

“I love Janet Jackson, respect Janet Jackson,” he told us exclusively. “The context of what I said is that Janet Jackson isn’t popping now like she was popping in the 80’s, 90’s. Doesn’t mean she’s not an icon.”

Rapaport, who is known to stir up on some drama with his Twitter antics, then added about being a sh*t talker: “I’m proud of the way I talk sh*t, I’m the MVP of talking trash. I can give it as good as I can take it.”
