Erica Mena Not Letting The “Whore” Jokes Keep Her Down

When Bow Wow announced earlier this week that he had set a date for exchanging nuptials with video girl Erica Mena, the rapper was slammed by his followers for marry someone with a promiscuous reputation. Comedian Tony Rock even got in on the jokes, tweeting:

106 and Park cancelled. Is the Bow Wow/Erica Mena wedding still on?” he joked, adding, “I ain’t even hatin on Bow Wow. Every nigga falls in love with a full blown whore once in his life.”

On Wednesday, Mena let it be known that she isn’t letting her past or the jokes about her sexual history keep her down. The reality TV star took to Twitter to let to respond to some of the unpleasant comments, tweeting:

“I’m Looking forward to hearing what rumor will be made up next once they hear the REAL BIG News. My wedding date announcement was light werq. Either way, it’s ME they talk about!! They know my name, retweet it and spell it correct at all times.”

She also posted this message on Instagram:

“Be grateful for what you’ve become. You’ve come a long way from where you used to be, and where you are headed is looking pretty damn marvelous. Continue to give your energy to love, continue educating your mind, try to remain peaceful, and always nurture your growth. You’re a determined caterpillar baby, now go turn into that transcendent butterfly.”

Bow Wow Shad Moss and Mena are set to walk down the aisle in April 2015.

Chris Graham Reveals Best Advice Cousin Drake Has Given Him

There’s a new member to the OVO Sound family. Drake’s Toronto-based label is expanding it’s roster, and this time the new addition is actually family.

Drizzy has signed his first cousin Christopher “Royalty” Graham to OVO.

If you couldn’t tell from the last name, the Memphis-bred rapper is actually blood-related. His father and Drake’s dad, Dennis Graham, are brothers, and it’s safe to say music definitely runs through their genes.

We caught up with the new signee, who now just goes by the stage name Chris Graham, at the 2017 American Music Award’s about his upcoming project, who’s a better singer him or Drake, and the best advice his big cousin has given him.
