HipHollywood can confirm that Dancing With the Stars competitor Alfonso Ribeiro is currently being evaluated after injuring his back.
An insider tells us that Alfonso was “injured during rehearsal” and that he is “currently under medical evaluation.” We are told that “it has not been determined whether or not he will be able to perform on Monday.”
TMZ first broke the story, the actor, who is most known for his role on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, apparently hurt his back by doing “The Carlton” with a little too much oomph. If you are not familiar, “The Carlton” is a cheesy dance move Ribeiro used to do on the hit 90’s sitcom.
Carlton’s injury sadly comes just days before the show’s semifinals. He has not responded to the reports on social media.
DWTS airs Monday and Tuesday nights on ABC at 8 p.m.
