As Oprah predicted, Raven-Symone’s “I’m not African-American” declaration got her in some hot water and now the former Cosby kid is backtracking a bit.

In a statement released to The Grio, Raven attempted to clarify what she meant by her “anti-label” rant.

“I never said I wasn’t black … I want to make that very clear. I said, I am not African-American. I never expected my personal beliefs and comments to spark such emotion in people. I think it is only positive when we can openly discuss race and being labeled in America.”

Now, Lady O tried to warn Ms. Symone, but the That’s So Raven actress was dead set on causing a stir. So, do you believe her now?
