Celebrities filled the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles on Sunday night for the 2018 Screen Actors Guild Awards and the night was full of great moments. Here are the top highlights from the show.

It was a big night for Sterling K. Brown who made history after becoming the first Black actor to win the category for Outstanding Performance by a Male in a Drama Series. Brown not only took home the award for his role on NBC’s This Is Us, but he also received a second SAG award for Best Ensemble.

Morgan Freeman was the recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award, making a seemingly short and awkward speech. While receiving the honor, he called out an audience member for talking.

“Hey … I’m talking to you. Yeah, hey,” the 80-year-old said. “Okay, well you just stand out to me. That’s all.” Freeman then explained, “These moments in one’s life usually will call for an entire litany of thank yous.”

And we’ve said it before and we will say it again, Olivia Munn and Niecy Nash need their own show. The pair provided comedic relief yet again while announcing the award for Outstanding Performance by a Male in a Drama Series.

When discussing who gets to announce the winner, Nash explained she gets to say Sterling’s name if he when’s because “he’s Black.” She did however explain Munn “can say anyone who is Asian who is nominated.”
