Keyshia Cole Will Not Be Prosecuted For Vicious Fight At Birdman’s Condo

Published

Keyshia Cole should be counting her lucky stars because the L.A. City Attorney’s Office has decided not to prosecute the singer for attacking a woman last month at Birdman’s condo.

A source from the City Attorney’s office tells TMZ that in lieu of a trial, Cole and the victim will “appear at an informal office hearing” to share their sides of the story. Someone from the City Attorney’s Office will listen to both women before making a decision. Per the news outlet, the resolution could mean anger management classes for the singer.

In September, Cole was taken into custody after allegedly viciously attacking Sabrina Mercadel while at the Los Angeles condo of rapper and Keyshia’s reported boo, Birdman. Earlier this month, Mercadel was granted a restraining order against the singer, who is now required to stay more than 100 yards away.

According to the order, Mercadel accuses Cole of “punching her in the face, slashing her with fingernails and throwing objects at her.” The singer was apparently under the impression that something was going down between the victim and the rapper, but according to Sabrina, she was just visiting a friend.

On Tuesday morning, Cole posted then deleted these cryptic videos of herself crawling on a piano. We aren’t sure what Cole is getting at, but she did caption the visuals with Birdman’s user name, Birdman5star.

There’s a new member to the OVO Sound family. Drake’s Toronto-based label is expanding it’s roster, and this time the new addition is actually family.

Drizzy has signed his first cousin Christopher “Royalty” Graham to OVO.

If you couldn’t tell from the last name, the Memphis-bred rapper is actually blood-related. His father and Drake’s dad, Dennis Graham, are brothers, and it’s safe to say music definitely runs through their genes.

We caught up with the new signee, who now just goes by the stage name Chris Graham, at the 2017 American Music Award’s about his upcoming project, who’s a better singer him or Drake, and the best advice his big cousin has given him.
