Time magazine officially released their list for 2014’s 25 Most Influential Teens, but there are a few fans slamming some of the names that were acknowledged.
Listed alongside first daughters Sasha and Malia Obama and Nobel Peace Prize-winner Malala Yousafzai, are reality stars Kendall and Kylie Jenner. According to Time:
“Together, the ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ co-stars hosted red-carpet events, released clothing and nail polish lines and even published a dystopian young-adult novel this past summer (though yes, they had some help). But they’ve had solo success too — Kendall with modeling (she’s walked the runway for designers like Marc Jacobs) and Kylie with pseudo-entrepreneurship (she’s launching a line of hair extensions and hopes to get into acting). Next up: a multimillion-dollar mobile game?”
Unfortunately, mag got slammed with angry tweets, wondering how the sisters made the list.
“If I live in a world where Time names Kendall & Kylie Jenner as the most influential ppl of 2014 I don’t want to be a part of it any longer,” one comment read.
“Really the Jenner’s? What a joke. DISGRACE,” another tweet read.
“F*ck you and your lame list, who came up with this sh*t??”
Sound off: What do you think? Do Kylie and Kendall deserve to be on the list?
