Fans Upset Over Kendall And Kylie Jenner Making Time’s Most Influential List

Published

on

Time magazine officially released their list for 2014’s 25 Most Influential Teens, but there are a few fans slamming some of the names that were acknowledged.

Listed alongside first daughters Sasha and Malia Obama and Nobel Peace Prize-winner Malala Yousafzai, are reality stars Kendall and Kylie Jenner. According to Time:

“Together, the ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ co-stars hosted red-carpet events, released clothing and nail polish lines and even published a dystopian young-adult novel this past summer (though yes, they had some help). But they’ve had solo success too — Kendall with modeling (she’s walked the runway for designers like Marc Jacobs) and Kylie with pseudo-entrepreneurship (she’s launching a line of hair extensions and hopes to get into acting). Next up: a multimillion-dollar mobile game?”

Unfortunately, mag got slammed with angry tweets, wondering how the sisters made the list.

“If I live in a world where Time names Kendall & Kylie Jenner as the most influential ppl of 2014 I don’t want to be a part of it any longer,” one comment read.

“Really the Jenner’s? What a joke. DISGRACE,” another tweet read.

“F*ck you and your lame list, who came up with this sh*t??”

Sound off: What do you think? Do Kylie and Kendall deserve to be on the list?

….It’s pretty unfair in sense., you would think that list would only be for people who seriously had to grind and go through a struggle to get where they are. I mean, if it wasn’t for the show or KIM K. sex tape (Lol….but can i be serious?) they wouldn’t have been on that list and only would’ve came out with a book. That book would’ve got popular after a year or two. However, you’ve got to respect their hustle. Using those major connections to get some lead way in this world and also looking out for their own success. They can’t live off of Kim, Khloe, and Kourtney forever.
