Exclusive: Mila J Says There Is No Rivalry Between Her And Her Sister Jhene Aiko

Are Mila J and Jhené Aiko on bad terms?

There has been much speculation as to if there was a big sibling rivalry between singers Jhene Aiko and her sister Mila J. The two post pictures of their other siblings and family frequently on Instagram but very rarely mention each other on social media.

In an interview with Power 105’s The Breakfast Club, Mila J was questioned multiple times about their sibling releationship and if there was any rivalry because both of them are singers. Mila who shied away from the question, responded stating, “Its all love, it ain’t no sibling rivalry.”

“We don’t work together. It’s weird, but it’s not. I feel like the style of music that I’m doing, where I wanna go, maybe doesn’t meet up with the style that she’s doing or where she is now.” Jhené said in an interview with Angie Martinez on September 4th.

Last month with the release of Jhené’s latest album, Mila ended some of the rumors when she took to Instagram to shout out her sister’s new album.

“Go get that #SouledOut right now! #InStoresNow #WhatChuWaitingFor,” she posted.

But with the recent release of Mila’s latest visual EP, which dropped on Tuesday, Jhené has not given her any shout outs back.

Mila took to Instagram today and posted a picture of her family but Jhené was not in the picture and the commenters seemed to notice.

“If she can post a Chris Brown album link, why she can’t do that for her own blood?,” one commenter stated referring to Jhené telling people to get Chris Brown’s album last month but not doing the same for Mila.

HipHollywood caught up with Mila on the green carpet at the 2014 BET Hip Hop Awards in Atlanta and asked about the fact that everyone is always trying to pin a sibling rivalry on them and Mila set everything straight.
