Exclusive: Jackie Christie Says “Basketball Wives: LA” Is Returning

Fans of “Basketball Wives: LA” can stand up and cheer. According to cast member Jackie Christie, the series is returning to Vh1 for a 4th season and production is starting very soon. “I do know production is starting, sooner than later I hope,” explained Christie while not he carpet for TV One’s “Hollywood Divas”. “But yeah we are going to get started pretty soon.”

Fans were left to wonder the fate of original series, Basketball Wives after ended it’s 5th season without a reunion. Rumor has it, Vh1 is planning to revamp the franchise, but a rep at the network would only tell us, “At this moment, we have no new news on the franchise, plans are still being discussed.”

In the meantime, the Los Angeles spinoff will have to do for die hard fans. So who exactly is returning? Christie couldn’t tell us much, but did say that it will be full of surprises. “I have to say wait and see,” Christie said with a smile. “I do know our show, Vh1 and Shed Media always brings something fresh and different so I can say it will be a surprise.”

And if you are wondering where things stand for she and cast member Draya Michelle, Christie says, “I really look at Draya like a little sister, even though she doesn’t like to take my advice and she’s always arguing with me … We kinda like each other I think, so it will be interesting to see how it goes.”

    Draya is to good for her old but and she wants to be Draya but she is married, Draya is single and pretty and woman like Jackie who are older with no talent are always jealous!!!!

It’s Litty! Migos, Jaden Smith & More Turn Up At ‘Bright’ World Premiere

Netflix definitely made sure the world premiere for their new flick Bright was lit!

Before the films stars including Will Smith, Joel Edgerton, Edgar Ramierez and Noomi Rapace hit the black carpet, Migos surprised fans with a pop-up performance.

Smith’s son Jaden also rocked the packed crowd at the Regency Village Theatre in Westwood.

Artists featured on the soundtrack BRIGHT: THE ALBUM including Portugal The Man, Machine Gun Kelly, Ty Dolla $ign, Kiiara, Slushie, Grey, Dram, and Bebe Rexha also hit up the premiere.

Will also snapped some fun flicks with his son Jaden before greeting fans and speaking with reporters including HipHollywood.

He told HipHollywood that he was super excited to reunite with his Suicide Squad director David Ayer for the film, and would “work with him whenever he wants to.

“I love his madness how he creates,” gushes Smith. “How he thinks about scenes, the way he works with actors, it’s some of the best psychological work of any director I’ve ever worked with.”

In the film Smith plays an LAPD cop in a mythical world of orcs, elves and fairies … and Ayer told us, he couldn’t think of anyone better for the role.

“We had such a good time on Suicide Squad together and this role is kind of perfect for him, it’s an edgy movie, buts it’s funny. He’s got the best sense of humor of anybody I know.”

BRIGHT debuts on Netflix December 22. Peep the newest trailer below.
