Drake Responds To Kevin Hart’s Air Ball Joke

Published

on

Drake is not “Steph Curry with the shot” and he knows it.

On Friday, Drake hit the court with the University of Kentucky Wildcats basketball team and ESPN caught him shooting an air ball. Kevin Hart saw the video and created his own Instagram video of the shot, teasing the fact that in Drake’s “0-100” song he compares himself to Golden State Warriors player, Stephen Curry. In the song Drake boasts that he is “Steph Curry with the shot,” but Kevin thinks otherwise.

“That moment when you forget your profession and try and live in the moment!!!! #WTFwasHeThinking #WhyIsHeInFulluniform #HesBringingTheProgramDown #iHopeHeWasntWearingaJerseyUnderThatJacket #CanadaHatesThatHeDidThis #iHopeHeDoesaSongButHowStupidThisWas #DrakeMakesBadDecisions,” Kevin captioned the post.

Drake, in good joking spirit, fired back at Kevin. The 27-year-old rapper, took to Instagram and posted the following picture making jokes in the hashtags, “#TheLightsWereBright #SomeoneCalledMyName #IPlayTennis #BeenRajonRondoWithTheShot #KevinDressesLikeZoeKravitz.”

“I was watching @kevinhart4real air ball video and reading the hashtags on the plane with this face… #TheLightsWereBright #SomeoneCalledMyName #IPlayTennis #BeenRajonRondoWithTheShot #KevinDressesLikeZoeKravitz,” he captioned the picture.

At least Drake can take a joke.

It’s no secret that Drake’s been on a giving spree while in Miami. From college kids to hotel workers and everyone in between, the rapper has been changing lives one dollar at a time — and now we can see it all in action.

Clearly, it was “God’s Plan” for Drizzy to take his entire budget for his music video and spend it on various residents and workers in Florida’s hot spot city. That’s right almost a million bucks — $996,631.90 to be exact — was slotted for Drake to shoot the visuals for his latest hit but instead he used all the money to make a difference. And in doing so, he made us cry … multiple times. Just watch the video below.

In a statement the self-professed “6god” said this video was “the most important thing” he’s ever done. We’d agree.
