Christina Aguilera Coming Back For Season 8 Of ‘The Voice’
It’s been confirmed, Christina Aguilera will be back for Season 8 of NBC’s The Voice.
Gwen Stefani has done a killer job coaching in Aguilera’s spot during her season off, but it sounds like Christina is ready to get back in that red chair and start coaching.
“We are excited to welcome Christina back to her red chair and can’t wait to see how she mixes things up among Adam, Blake and Pharrell, in what will be an incredibly competitive competition,” Paul Telegdy, the president of alternative and late night programming at NBC Entertainment said in a statement. “These four talented artists are at the top of their game as musicians and as coaches. The mentoring is sure to be intense and the stakes will be high.”
Gwen stepped in with new judge Pharrell Williams this season alongside veteran judges, Blake Shelton and Adam Levine. The show’s host Carson Daly confirmed on NBC’s Today that the next cycle of judges will include Aguilera, Williams, Shelton and Levine.
In August, Christina gave birth to her first daughter, Summer Rain. Summer is Christina and fiance Matthew Rutler’s first child together. The Voice coach is also the mother to 6-year-old son, Max Bratman, who she had with ex-husband, Jordan Bratman.
