HipHollywood can confirm that Blake Griffin was involved in a little altercation over the weekend which led to a police report being filed.

The Las Vegas Metro Police Department tells HipHollywood that they received a call at 4 p.m. on October 19th from a man alleging that there was an incident at a Vegas resort. The victim named Griffin as the suspect. LVMPD confirmed that the altercation did occur over a cell phone camera and a report was filed.

TMZ first broke the story, the Los Angeles Clippers player was partying at Tao nightclub with his teammates when a man named Daniel tried to take a picture with his cell phone. Daniel told Tao security that Griffin was irritated with the phone’s flash so he “grabbed my phone with one hand.”

According to the victim, his ID and credit cards were attached to the device, so he didn’t let go.  That’s when Blake apparently grew more angry and eventually grabbed hold of his neck and demanded Daniel give up his phone “or else.” Eventually, Blake obtained the phone, but when Daniel tried to ask for the phone back, Blake apparently grabbed his neck again.

According to TMZ, when security arrived to the scene, the baller told them to “get him the f**k out of this club.” According to the victim, the Los Angeles Clippers player also “slapped me in the right side of my face.”

We are told that the case is still open and that they are currently investigating.

Clippers player Chris Paul was hosting the night at Tao. Also in attendance, teammate DeAndre Jordan.

Will also snapped some fun flicks with his son Jaden before greeting fans and speaking with reporters including HipHollywood.

He told HipHollywood that he was super excited to reunite with his Suicide Squad director David Ayer for the film, and would “work with him whenever he wants to.

“I love his madness how he creates,” gushes Smith. “How he thinks about scenes, the way he works with actors, it’s some of the best psychological work of any director I’ve ever worked with.”

In the film Smith plays an LAPD cop in a mythical world of orcs, elves and fairies … and Ayer told us, he couldn’t think of anyone better for the role.

“We had such a good time on Suicide Squad together and this role is kind of perfect for him, it’s an edgy movie, buts it’s funny. He’s got the best sense of humor of anybody I know.”

BRIGHT debuts on Netflix December 22. Peep the newest trailer below.
