Adrian Peterson Slams Minneapolis Star Tribune In Lengthy Text, See The Message
Adrian Peterson’s arraignment on a felony child abuse charge was delayed on Wednesday and tentatively set for December 1. The NFL star, who is facing child abuse charges after beating his 4-year-old son with a switch, is set to plead not guilty.
Before the initial scheduled arraignment, Peterson was very vocal on social media in efforts to clear his name of any extra gossip. On Tuesday night Peterson posted a screen shot of a lengthy message sent to the Minneapolis Star Tribune who alleged that donations sent by his charity to Straight From the Heart Ministries in Laurel, Md. were never received. The report also alleged that 29-year-old used funds from his charity to pay for a hotel room to have an orgy.
The Minnesota Vikings player titled the message: “Journalism 101.”
Earlier this week Peterson also tweeted:
“It’s SAD how people these days will believe anything reported by media sources that don’t take the time to be GREAT!!!”
If Peterson is convicted, he could face six months to two years in state prison.
