You might not know it but gospel singer, Marvin Sapp, is having a lot of problems with female fans getting a little too close.
On Tuesday, the “Never Could Have Made It” singer took to Facebook to beg his 2.2 million followers, many of them women, to give him his space and respect his privacy. According to the widower, a woman showed up in a car outside of his home at 7:30am Tuesday morning and he was forced to call the authorities.
This is not the first time Marvin has had to deal with women giving him unwanted attention. Sapp took out a restraining order against a woman named Teleka Patrick, earlier this year in Michigan. Teleka had reportedly moved to Michigan in order to be closer to Sapp while finishing her medical residency and was claiming to be his wife. Teleka apparently suffered a mental illness and went missing, only to be found dead later in Lake Charles.
This is obviously a very serious issue for Sapp and we hope his message works.
