Robin Thicke Stranded In Cabo, Treated Like Average Joe

Published

on

Robin Thick is just another Joe Schmo, well at least when stranded in Cabo San Lucas.

According to TMZ, Robin, his nanny and his 4-year-old son, Julian Fuego were vacationing at the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula when hurricane Odile hit. It’s worth noting that September is usually the height of hurricane season.

Per the news outlet, the singer, who split from his wife Paula Patton earlier this year, attempted for several days to get out, but was unsuccessful. Thicke and the crew ended up leaving the tropical destination by military aircraft. Coincidentally, actress and former model, Angie Everhart was also vacationing when the storm hit, winding up on the same flight out as Robin.

As you can imagine, the airlines were bombarded by requests and demands by tourists trying to get home … But don’t think for one second Thicke and Everhart will given any special treatment. According to reports, the celebrities were not singled out and stood in line and fought just like everybody else.

“My thoughts and prayers go out to all still stuck in Mexico. I was there I know how bad it is! Hang in there,” Angie tweeted when she finally landed back in LA. “More than grateful to be home- so happy to see my kid! Night all. Sweet dreams.”

According to reports, Hurricane Oldie has weakened since Monday, but the aftermath has left homes destroyed and hotels and highways flooded.

It’s no secret that Drake’s been on a giving spree while in Miami. From college kids to hotel workers and everyone in between, the rapper has been changing lives one dollar at a time — and now we can see it all in action.

Clearly, it was “God’s Plan” for Drizzy to take his entire budget for his music video and spend it on various residents and workers in Florida’s hot spot city. That’s right almost a million bucks — $996,631.90 to be exact — was slotted for Drake to shoot the visuals for his latest hit but instead he used all the money to make a difference. And in doing so, he made us cry … multiple times. Just watch the video below.

In a statement the self-professed “6god” said this video was “the most important thing” he’s ever done. We’d agree.
